The Documentary that Red Raiders have been Waiting For

Wreck ‘Em, Tech! Paramount+ is putting Texas Tech football right under the national spotlight, and you won’t want to miss a single second of this.
The Program: Texas Tech: an exclusive four-part original docuseries narrated by Hollywood legend Dennis Quaid officially premieres next Friday, September 4th. Texas Tech gave them unprecedented, behind the scenes access to the Red Raiders. This off season has been the most dramatic in college football history.
Behind the Scenes in Lubbock:
Directed by Micah Brown (Coach Prime, Untold: Sign Stealer), cameras have been embedded with the team since January. The series follows Head Coach Joey McGuire “working tirelessly to build a winning identity and usher in a brand-new era for Texas Tech football”.
Exclusive Red Raider Access: Step right inside the facility with candid interviews from Coach Joey McGuire, transfer quarterback Brendan Sorsby, Board of Regents Chairman Cody Campbell, and key figures from across the program.
Rather than leaning into promotional fanfare, the documentary captures the stark realities reshaping the modern college game. Viewers get look into the pressure cooker of contemporary roster management in 2026. Transfer portal movements and sudden roster overhauls can alter a team’s trajectory overnight. At the center of the narrative is transfer quarterback Brendan Sorsby, whose unexpected turn of events puts both his personal future and the Red Raiders’ season opening plans on uncertain ground.
All four episodes of The Program: Texas Tech stream September 4 on Paramount+.
