Water Line Installation: E Cesar Chavez Drive Closure
Starting Friday, August 28th, 2026, Rink’s Lease Service will be performing water line installation located on E Cesar Chavez Drive Between N Ave R and N Ave Q. This project will install water infrastructure to improve water service and reduce future maintenance.
This closure will close both lanes with no traffic being allowed throughout construction. Traffic will detour to Baylor Street. Citizens are encouraged to drive with caution and to avoid the area if possible.
