Lubbock ISD Continues Free Lunch and Breakfast for All Enrolled Students for 2026-2027 School Year
Lubbock Independent School District (Lubbock ISD) will operate the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs for the 2026-2027 school year. Through the CEP, all schools within Lubbock ISD will offer free breakfast and free lunch to all enrolled students.
While CEP minimizes the burden on families and campus administrators by eliminating the need for free and reduced meal applications, families are still encouraged to provide socio-economic information in their parent/guardian portal for their students. Families may access the portal by clicking on the “Gradebook” button in the top right corner of the Lubbock ISD homepage (www.lubbockisd.org).
The information entered in this form is confidential but also benefits Lubbock ISD campuses, which receive funding based on the overall socio-economic status of each school. This funding is vital to students’ educational experience and campus environment.
