City of Lubbock CIO to Host Inaugural West Texas Women in Technology Luncheon

City of Lubbock’s Chief Information Officer, Jennifer Frescaz, will host the inaugural West Texas Women in Technology Luncheon on Thursday, August 27, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Overton Conference Center. The simple goal of this event is to bring together women working in technology across West Texas to connect, share experiences, encourage one another, and strengthen the regional technology community.

The luncheon will bring together women working in technology across West Texas and the South Plains to connect, share experiences, and strengthen the regional technology community. This year’s theme, “Our Journeys in Technology,” will feature a panel of women sharing their career paths, lessons learned, and perspectives on leadership and opportunity in technology.

The event is open to women at all career stages, including those in IT, cybersecurity, technology support, leadership, and related fields.
