City to Host Oath of Office Ceremony Tomorrow
The Lubbock City Council will convene for a Special City Council Meeting at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11, to accept the results of the District 4 Special Runoff Election and administer the Oath of Office for Councilman-elect Tim Green.
Outgoing Council Member Brayden Rose will also be recognized for his service to the citizens of Lubbock.
The meeting will take place at Citizens Tower, located at 1314 Avenue K. Everyone is invited to attend. Following the Special City Council Meeting where Councilman-elect Green will assume his seat on the City Council, all members of the Lubbock City Council will convene at 2 p.m. for their regularly scheduled meeting.
