Building Professional Institute Hosting West Texas Conference in Lubbock, Deadline to Register 8/12
Building Professional Institute (BPI) is bringing its conference to West Texas. The West Texas BPI conference is a three-day program offering continuing education sessions in the areas of: Building Code, Fire Code, Residential Code, Plumbing Code, Mechanical Code, Electrical Code, Energy Code, Code Enforcement, Permit Technician, Texas Accessibility and various Special Topics. Please note that registration closes Wednesday, August 12, 2026, for in-person sessions. You may register for an online session until the day that class starts. There will be no on-site event registration.

2026 West Texas BPI – Monday, August 17 – Wednesday, August 19
- Full day | 8:00am-4:00pm (with 1 hour on-site lunch provided)
- Full Day sessions = 0.6 CEU/6.0 Contact Hours
- Accessibility Full Day sessions = 0.8 CEU/8.0 Contact Hours
- Half Day | 8:00am-11:30am or 12:30pm-4:00pm
- Half Day sessions = 0.3 CEU/3.0 Contact Hours
- Accessibility Half Day sessions = 0.4 CEU/4.0 Contact Hours
TWO COURSE FORMATS
Choose from Live In-Person Sessions and Live Online Streaming Sessions
LIVE In-Person Sessions – In-Person classes will be held at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. Coffee will be available by 7:30am and lunch will be provided on-site. You do not need to check-in at the event, but a registration desk will be available for questions. Sign-in rosters will be passed around in the classroom for documenting attendance (which is mandatory to receive a certificate). Lunch will be provided on-site and parking is free. Plus you’ll have the opportunity to visit our Exhibitor Showcase during breaks and lunch.
LIVE Online Streaming Sessions – Live virtual courses via ZOOM. Log-in instructions will be emailed upon registration, along with reminder emails 1 week prior and 1 day prior. If you do not receive email instructions, please call/text 903-390-6665 or email [email protected] prior to the event. Make sure to have ZOOM installed and tested. The JOIN link will be available 30 minutes prior to class starting. Online time is monitored to receive a certificate.
