Lubbock ISD Hosts Registration Blitz for Families on July 23

Lubbock Independent School District (Lubbock ISD) will host its annual Registration Blitz on Thursday, July 23.
From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., families can visit any Lubbock ISD campus to complete registration for their student(s) for the 2026-2027 school year. Campuses will provide Chromebook access to complete the process and will have staff on hand to assist parents and guardians and answer any questions they may have.
Families can go to any campus to register – they don’t have to complete the process at the school their child will attend. If they have multiple children at different campuses, they can complete the enrollment process for all of their students in one stop instead of visiting a different school for each child.
“We want to make the registration process as easy, accessible and efficient as possible for as many families as we can,” said Superintendent Dr. Kathy Rollo. “We are so excited to welcome students to our campuses this fall, and we hope anyone who needs access to a computer or help with the registration process can make it out on July 23 to get their students registered.”
Staff members will be on-site to help families create their parent/guardian portal, update their portal password, answer questions and make copies of documents. If available, families are asked to bring the following documents to help make this process easier:
-
Their student’s birth certificate and social security card
-
A government-issued photo ID for the parent or guardian who is registering the student
-
Proof of residency, which can be a printed copy of a full utility bill (gas, electric, water, or cable) that shows the service address and name of the parent/guardian OR a printed copy of their signed lease or rental agreement that shows the address and name of the parent/guardian.
If families do not have any of these documents on July 23, they may need to return to campus after Aug. 3 to provide them. If they need to complete a residency form they may do so beginning Aug. 3 at the Student Services Department, located in the Lubbock ISD Central Office at 1628 19th St.
