FREE Meals for Kids and Teens
YWCA of Lubbock is helping ensure children and teens have access to nutritious meals throughout the summer by offering free meals through the Summer Meal Program.
When school is out, many families lose access to the daily breakfasts and lunches children receive during the academic year. The Summer Meal Program helps bridge that gap by providing healthy meals at no cost to eligible youth during the summer months.
Free meals are available to:
- Children and teens ages 18 and under
- Enrolled students with disabilities up to age 21
Meals are served Monday through Friday at the YWCA of Lubbock, located at 6501 University Avenue. Participants should check in at the North Entrance.
Meal service times include:
- Lunch: 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- Snack: 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
