Lubbock Cultural Arts Foundation Upcoming Events and Deadlines
The Lubbock Cultural Arts Foundation has several exciting opportunities to connect, collaborate, and grow this summer and fall.
On August 18, filmmakers are invited to a Filmmakers’ Meet Up beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Hollingsworth Hall Cultural Center. The event offers a chance for filmmakers and creatives to network, share ideas, and build connections.
On August 25, artists and community members are encouraged to attend Arts After Hours: “The Art of Collaboration” at Nashwell Cafe, an evening focused on fostering creative partnerships and inspiring new collaborations.
Looking ahead, registration will open soon for the 6th Annual Getting the Gig on October 13 at Jake’s Sports Cafe.
Artists and nonprofit organizations should also take note of several upcoming funding deadlines:
- July 15 – Texas Commission on the Arts: Arts Respond Projects Deadline
- July 21 – National Endowment for the Arts: GAP2 Submission Deadline
- August 1 – South Plains Foundation Grant Deadline (Apply through the Community Foundation of West Texas)
- September 1 – E. Jay Matsler Trust for Historic Preservation (Apply through the Community Foundation of West Texas)
- September 1 – Texas Music Incubator Rebate Program Opens (Apply through the Texas Music Office)
