FREE Meals for Kids and Teens

As schools close for the summer, many families lose access to the daily meals children receive during the school year. To help bridge that gap, the YWCA of Lubbock is providing free, nutritious meals to children and teens through the Summer Meal Program.
The program is open to:
- All children and teens ages 18 and under
- Enrolled students with disabilities up to age 21
Meals will be served Monday through Friday at the YWCA of Lubbock, 6501 University Avenue (check in at the north entrance) according to the following schedule:
- Lunch: 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- Snack: 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The Summer Meal Program is designed to help combat childhood hunger by providing accessible, no-cost meals throughout the summer months.
Families looking for additional meal locations and schedules can visit summerfood.org or call 2-1-1 for more information.
