Traffic Signal Work 82nd Street and Upland Avenue
On Wednesday, May 20, weather permitting, contractors under the supervision of the Texas Department of Transportation will perform extensive traffic signal work at the intersection of 82nd Street and Upland Avenue.
This work requires the temporary deactivation of all traffic signals. Police will be on site to direct traffic. Work will begin immediately following the morning rush hour.
The City urges motorists to take other routes, and drivers should expect lengthy delays and turning restrictions throughout the day. Workers will be in the roadway next to live traffic. Please drive slowly and use an abundance of caution if passing through the area.
