Lubbock Firefighter Placed on Administrative Leave
Lubbock Fire Rescue is aware that Lubbock Fire Rescue Firefighter Jonathan Forkner has been booked into the Lubbock County Jail on a criminal charge for an off-duty incident. This employee, as prescribed by Chapter 143 of the Texas Local Government Code, has been placed on administrative leave pending investigation.
Lubbock Fire Rescue takes alleged criminal conduct by its employees seriously and holds all personnel to the highest standard of conduct, both on and off duty. We want to assure the public that any actions inconsistent with our mission and values will not be tolerated.
