Casas for CASA – Drawing Will be Held at CASA Office
Due to the potential for inclement weather on Wednesday, May 20, CASA of the South Plains has announced adjustments to the Drawing Day for Casas for CASA.
Raffle ticket sales at Market Street will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the front entrance of the store. Community members are encouraged to stop by during those hours to purchase tickets and support CASA’s mission of advocating for children in foster care.
Tickets may also be purchased online anytime through Wednesday, May 20 at 9:00 a.m. at bit.ly/CasasforCASA.
In addition, the Casas for CASA drawing will no longer be held at Market Street as previously planned. The drawing will instead take place at the CASA office (4601 S. Loop 289, Suite 25, Lubbock, TX 79424). Community members are still welcome and encouraged to join CASA for the drawing as the organization celebrates the conclusion of this year’s campaign.
CASA of the South Plains appreciates the community’s understanding and continued support as the organization works to safely conclude this year’s campaign. Funds raised through Casas for CASA directly support the recruitment, training, and ongoing support of CASA volunteers who advocate for children experiencing abuse and neglect.

About CASA of the South Plains
CASA of the South Plains inspires, educates, and empowers solution-minded community members who are committed to supporting the best interest of children in the foster care system. Volunteer advocates create connections and promote nurturing relationships for the child and family, encouraging hope and healing. Through court appointment and collaborative efforts, volunteer advocates share informed recommendations for the well-being of the child. CASA supports children in six counties in the South Plains: Cochran, Hale, Hockley, Lubbock, Terry, and Yoakum.
CASA’s Impact*
- 374 children received advocacy services from CASA of the South Plains in 2025. 2. 222 CASA Volunteers donated a total of 5,832 hours in 2025, saving county taxpayers $320,760 in county paid attorneys’ fees.
