2026 Big 12 Bracket Released, Tech Draws BYU Tuesday
Texas Tech Baseball will open play at the 2026 Big 12 Tournament presented by Allstate on Tuesday afternoon into evening against No. 9-seeded BYU. First pitch from Surprise Stadium is set for 6:30 p.m. (CT)/4:30 p.m. (MST).
The Red Raiders and Cougars met just two weeks ago in Lubbock, with Tech coming out on top in the series by a count of two games to one. The Red Raiders won the opener 2-1 before taking the series on Saturday afternoon with a 15-11 win. BYU won the middle game of the series 12-3 last Friday night.
Tuesday’s winner between the Red Raiders and Cougars advance to Wednesday’s second round where eighth-seeded Baylor would await at 6:30 p.m. (CT)/4:30 p.m. (MST).
