May 1-May 31: Engage Lubbock Applications are Open:
Engage Lubbock is a 12-month capacity building and technical assistance program designed to strengthen arts and cultural organizations and creative businesses in Lubbock and Hockley Counties through coaching, cohort learning and skill building. Tuesday May 12: Art After Hours – Screening of a new documentary “Georgia O’Keeffe: The Brightness of Light” at the Cactus Theater with opening remarks by Dr. Christian Conrad.
Tuesday May 19: Third Tuesday Filmmakers’ Meet Up – Visit the studio of Therese Barrett Fine Art Photography at 5:30pm and learn about Pitch Decks from Womphis Productions founder Brett Womble.
Sunday June 21 – “Make Music Day” at South Plains Mall 2:00-4:00pm. We’ll have another Open Jam opportunity this year during the International Day of Music. Mark the day on your calendar and watch for more information and sign up coming soon!
