About the Artrageous Performers:
Formed in the 1980s, Artrageous is a theater arts community based outside Albuquerque, New Mexico. From its roots in children’s theater and street performance, this group of like-minded and gifted “misfit” performers has grown into an international phenomenon, revolutionizing live performance art and interactive entertainment.
Their shows feature a fresh mix of fine art, live music, singing, dancing, humor, and audience participation. Audiences around the world have fallen in love with Artrageous’s uncanny ability to turn any audience into a community.

The 48th Annual Lubbock Arts Festival, presented by United Supermarkets, will take place April 18–19, 2026, at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, 1501 Mac Davis Lane in Lubbock, Texas.
