City of Lubbock to Launch Redesigned Website on April 22
The City of Lubbock will launch its newly redesigned official website on Monday, April 22, at its current web address. The updated site will serve as the City’s primary digital platform for accessing news, services, and public information.
The redesign reflects the City’s commitment to accessibility, security, and improved communication with residents. New accessibility tools include AudioEye, which supports compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, more than 200 language options that allow users to translate the entire website, and Page Assist, which enables visitors to customize visual settings such as font size, contrast, and spacing for improved readability. These enhancements ensure equitable access to information for all users.
Built on the CivicEngage platform, the website introduces tools that improve efficiency and engagement for residents. Citizens can receive personalized updates through Notify Me®, access urgent information via the Alert Center, view meeting agendas, download forms, pay bills, and track requests using centralized features like the File Center and Agenda Center. Together, these features make the City of Lubbock’s website more accessible, user-friendly, and responsive to the needs of the community.
New users of the website/ MyLBK app will be asked to create a new Civic Plus account. If you already have the MyLBK app or have previously submitted a service request your credentials should still work.
