On National Medal of Honor Day- – Remembering and Honoring the 13 Killed in Action and the 200 Wounded in Operation Epic Fury

Lubbock Veteran Groups are hosting a Memorial on National Medal of Honor Day ( March 25th) at 7:13 pm at the Monument of Courage remembering and honoring America’s Sons and Daughters wounded or killed in action during Operation Epic Fury. Salute the 13 West Texans who received the Medal of Honor on their special day before remembering the 13 Fallen and 200 Wounded.

Join and deliver the opening prayer. Additionally, Lubbockites and the good people of the South Plains are asked to turn on their porch light at 7:13 pm.on Wednesday, March 25th, through sunrise on the 26th to show support and appreciation of troops in harms way and everywhere they might serve.

Since a small percentage of Americans wear the uniform of our country, it is imperative that they are remembered and supported by leaving a porch light on to lead them through the fog of war.
