Join LHF for the 26th Annual César E. Chávez Day of Service
The 2026 year’s theme, “Service Above Self,” will showcase a tribute to Chavez’s commitment to the environment and his community engagement, and working together.
Veterans, church groups, non-profits, students of all ages, and the general public of all backgrounds are encouraged to join.
The clean-up event will begin on Clovis Hwy between University and Indiana (a 2-mile stretch).
The public is encouraged to wear sunscreen, wear comfortable shoes, and wear hats. Groups are encouraged to bring banners and wear their organization’s t-shirts.
Those participating in the Day of Service are urged to bring gloves and wear closed-toed shoes.
